Architects + Project Managers

CAD Technician – A computer-aided design or CAD technician uses CAD systems to create design plans for buildings and machinery. Essentially, involves the production of electronic versions of the technical drawings which a draughtsman would previously have created with pen and paper at a drawing board.

Junior Architect II – Junior Architects contribute to and support architectural projects. They help prepare designs, complete construction documents, write up building plans and assist in the presentation of materials.

Project Manager (Site) – The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarise progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Site Supervisor – Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a building project. Alternatively, the post holder will be responsible for supervising a section of works on a building project reporting to the Site Manager/Site Agent.

Surveyors + Engineers

Quantity Surveyor (Regional)  – As a quantity surveyor you'll manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Working either for the client or the contractor, in an office or on site, you'll be involved in a project from the start.

Mechanical Engineer – Mechanical engineers design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalators. They also design material-handling systems, such as conveyor systems and automated transfer stations.

Site Engineer – The role of a site engineer combines technical responsibilities with project management. Without these guys, construction projects would descend into chaos. Site engineers are responsible for planning, marking out and levelling construction sites before any building work takes place. They also build roads, drainage systems and other vital facilities to make sure construction projects go off without a hitch.
